Beginning in 2012, when PMC Connection was acquired by new owners, we helped to rebrand them by designing an updated logo and color scheme. We then designed and built an updated website, and migrated pmcconnection.com from an outdated ZenCart platform to Magento.
We continued to maintain and update the redesigned website for the following 7 years. As part of that effort, we created a responsive template in Magento. We designed banners to keep the home page content fresh, promote new products and specials, and highlight charities which were supported by PMC Connection.
In addition to our work on the PMC Connection website, we developed a series of magazine ads which ran in national print publications, and which featured work by certified PMC teachers. Each of these ads focused on the work of a particular artist, and helped to reinforce the connection between the PMC Connection brand and the fine art community. By aligning themselves with these artists, PMC Connection positioned themselves as a premier supplier for workshop environments, resulting in increased sales volumes.

To further reinforce the relationship between PMC Connection and their teaching artists, we developed a custom Magento module which enabled teachers to log in and manage a calendar of classes. By integrating this module with Google Maps, we offered customers the option to search for PMC classes in their neighborhood, and provided links to online registration for those classes.
We also created a Magento module which enabled our clients to upload a library of “project guides” which gave users step-by-step instructions on completing a piece of precious metal clay jewelry, and displayed links to products and tools recommended for the project. These project guides were written by PMC certified teachers, further reinforcing the connection to the workshop environment, which was an important sales channel for PMC Connection.
