Offshore Technology Meets Carnivál

OTC Brasil is a new conference sponsored by the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) and the Brazilian Institute of Petroleum (IBP). We were tasked with coming up with a visual strategy to separate OTC Brasil from the existing OTC brand.

Since OTC Brasil is a relatively new conference, there are few visual elements related to the conference itself. The decision was made to focus on the host city, Rio de Janeiro. The iconic sugarloaf and the Rio skyline quickly convey the convention destination. We chose bright, bold colors that fit within the Brazilian tradition, and offer a flexible color palette for future projects.
